Abstract:

To ensure thermal characteristics similar to those of glass frit for sealing and to improve heat resistance, devitrification resistance, electric insulating property and thermal expansion characteristics by incorporating SiO2, B2O3, Al2O3, SrO, BaO, MgO and CaO.

A mixture consisting of, by weight, 30-45% SiO2, 1-10% B2O3, 1-7% Al2O3, 1-7% SrO, 22-35% BaO, 0-5% MgO, 0-14% CaO (4%≤MgO+ CaO≤16%), 0-14% La2O3, 0-8% ZrO2, 0-5% ZnO, 0-5% TiO2, 0-2% As2O3, 0-2% Sb2O3, 0-2% SnO2 and 0-2% SO3 is melted by heating to 1,200-1,500°C, refined ad slowly cooled to obtain the objective heat resistant glass having ≥670°C deformation temp., 78×10-7-92×10-7/°C coefft. of thermal expansion in the range of 100-300°C and 40.0×1014-300.0×1014Ωcm volume resistivity.
