PURPOSE: To obtain a heat-resistant polyester molding which hardly undergoes a long-term change in physical properties and is excellent in mechanical strengths, shape retention, transparency, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This polyester molding is obtained from a composition comprising a major amount of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid (esterifiable derivative), 1-20mol%, based on the total dicarboxylic acid, alicyclic dicarboxylic acid (esterifiable derivative), 1-15mol%, based on the total diol component, dihydroxy compound represented by the formula (wherein R1 is 2-4C alkyl; and R2, R3, R4 and R5 are each H or 1-4C alkyl) and at least 85mol%, based on the total diol component, ethylene-glycol-containing aliphatic diol and/or esterifiable derivative thereof.
