Title:
HEAT RESISTANT WEAR RESISTANT ALLOY HAVING AGE HARDENABILITY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6479352
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To manufacture an alloy combining heat resistance with wear resistance and having age hardenability, by incorporating specific percentages of C, Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, Cu, Ti, Nb, B, and V to Fe.

CONSTITUTION: An alloy having a composition consisting of 0.3W1.0% C, 0.4W1.5% Si, 0.4W1.5% Mn, 15W25% Cr, 3W8% Ni, 1.5W5% Cu, 0.03W0.50%, in total, of one or ≥2 elements among Ti, Nb, B, and V, and the balance essentially Fe is prepared. By subjecting this alloy to age hardening, the alloy having high wear resistance in a high-temp. region can be obtained.
