Abstract:
To provide a heat-resistant polymer waveguide which has heat resistance and is excellent in mass-productivity and its manufacturing method.
The heat resistance of a core 12 is improve by crosslinking the core after the core 12 is formed with thermoplastic polymer having good workability. Thereafter, the heat-resistant polymer waveguide 14 having heat resistance is obtained without impairing the workability by covering the periphery of the crosslinked core 120 with a clad layer 13 consisting of thermoplastic polymer.
