Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cloth comprising both filament and staple fibers that has an excellent heat insulation effect that is sustainable irrespective of weather, is excellent in wearing durability and warm feeling, and is suitable for inner wear for fall and winter and sports apparel.SOLUTION: The heat-retaining cloth is obtained by interknitting or interweaving a synthetic fiber multifilament yarn containing at least one kind of far infrared ray-radiating fine particles selected from a group consisting of mica, tin oxide and talc with a hygroscopic and exothermic spun yarn. It is preferable that the blend ratio (A/B) of the synthetic fiber multifilament yarn (A) to the hygroscopic and exothermic spun yarn (B) is 10/90-50/50.
