Abstract:
To provide a heat-reversible recording medium excelling in light resistance, and an image processing method using the heat-reversible recording medium.
The heat-reversible recording medium includes, on a support body, a light heat converting layer including a heat-reversible recording layer containing leuco dye which is an electron donative coloring compound, and a reversible developer which is an electron acceptable compound, and reversibly changed in color tone by heat. The light heat converting layer contains a light heat converting material for absorbing light of specific wavelength and converting the light into heat. The heat-reversible recording medium also contains an imidazole-based compound.
