Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent heat-sensitive recording medium with excellent dimensional accuracy and carrying properties.
SOLUTION: In a heat-sensitive recording medium wherein a heat-sensitive recording layer in which an electron-donating color developing compd., an electron-accepting compd. and a binder resin are main components is provided on a transparent substrate and in addition, an overlayer in which a resin with approximately the same reflective index as that of the heat-sensitive recording layer is a main component, is provided, the dynamic frictional coefficient of the outermost surface of the overlayer is made at most 0.1.
