Title:
HEAT-SHRINKABLE FILM AND HEAT-SHRINKAGE PACKAGING METHOD REQUIRING NO SPIKE HOLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3213553
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent insects from getting in from a spike hole of a heat- shrinkage packaging film.
SOLUTION: An item to be packaged is wrapped in a film on which a part coat layer 10 is formed by applying a coating agent for heat seal, while the film is being continuously formed into a tubular shape, and under such conditions, the opposite side edges of the film are superposed one on the other to heat-seal the layer 10 by means of a rotary center sealer. The film whose center sealed portion is thermally bonded in the stripe-form is caused to shrink by heat and air within a packaged item is removed from a non-seal portion of the layer 10. An air removal hole at the non-seal portion is completely closed in the manner that the coating agent of the layer 10 is melted by the heat of the heat shrinkage in a shrinkage furnace.
