To provide a label to be bonded to a vessel at high speed with excellent finish and made of a heat shrinkable polyester film shrinking mainly in the longitudinal direction suitable for mounting on the vessel, and to provide a light-weight heat shrinkable label having light shielding property without applying printing and processing on the label and good appearance even when printing is applied.
This heat shrinkable label is made of at least a monoaxially stretched heat shrinkable polyester film and is molded into a continuous body by applying active energy rays on an active energy ray-curable adhesive applied part of the film wound around the vessel. The heat shrinkable polyester film has heat shrinkage ratio in hot water in the longitudinal direction of 40% or more and less than 80% in the hot water at 90C, mainly shrinks in the longitudinal direction, and has whiteness degree of 70 or more or a cavity.
