To provide a shrinkable film improving the finish properties after shrinking in a state of maintaining the predominance of a polyester film.

The heat-shrinkable polyester film has ≥50% HSW10 and ≥3% ΔHSW in hot water at 95°C in relation to a difference (referred to as ΔHSW) between the shrinkage percentage (referred to as HSW10) in 10 s dipping time and the shrinkage percentage (referred to as HSW03) in 3 s dipping time for the heat shrinkage percentage (referred to as HSW) in the maximum shrinkage direction of the film after dipping the film in the hot water. A heat-shrinkage label is prepared from the film.
