Abstract:
To provide a heat sink with a plate type heat pipe which has a high layout flexibility and a good productivity.
The heat sink 10 has many radiation fins 8 erected on the upside 7 of a board 1 and a plate type heat pipe 4 on the downside 2 of the board 1. A rectangular recess 3 is formed into the downside 2 opposite to the plane 7 having the fins 8, and the heat pipe 4 having a sectional shape approximately agreed with that of the recess 3 is fitted in and fixed to the recess 3 in a sealed condition.
