PURPOSE: To provide a heat storage device of high efficiency, capable of varying thermal capacitance and the like after installation by constituting the device of a number of duct shaped casings each accommodating therein one or two or more of a latent heat storage material, a heating unit and a blasting fan, and making it possible for these casings to be integrally connected with airstream axes thereof in series or in parallel.
CONSTITUTION: The heat storage device comprises a number of duct shaped casings 2 each accommodating therein one or two or more of a latent heat storage material 1A, a heating unit 1B and a blasting fan 1C. In order to carry out space heating by use of the heat storage device, the device is formed by suitably assembling a large number of duct shaped casings 2, 2...each of which is a duct shaped casing 2 accommodating therein the latent heat storage material 1A, the heating unit 1B and the delivery fan, singly or in combination, and contains at least one or more of duct shaped casings 2 each accommodating therein the latent heat storage material 1A. In accordance with the purpose of use, duct shaped casings in a required number matching with the thermal capacitance, the air delivery volume and the like required for heat storage are connected and assembled, the change in the thermal capacitance, the air flow amount, etc. can be made easily.
