To obtain a composition which prevents a phenomenon of phase separation and does not decrease latent heat of melting by making the composition contain a hydrate salt type heat storage material, a supercooling preventive agent, water and a viscosity improver.
A heat storage material composition is a mixture of a hydrate salt type heat storage material with 1-3 wt.% of a supercooling preventive agent such as lithium fluoride or the like, 2-6 wt.% of water, 2-6 wt.% of a viscosity improver and if necessary, a material such as carbon black which accelerates heat transmission. The hydrated salt type heat storage material includes sodium succinate trihydrate, sodium sulfate decahydrate and calcium chloride hexahydrate. The viscosity improver is a single material selected from polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, gelatin, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium alginate and the like or a combination of polyvinyl alcohol and gelatin, polyvinyl alcohol and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol and a sodium alginate, gelatin and sodium alginate or the like.
