Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage system which is capable of effectively utilizing waste heat recovered from waste heat means and can be downsized as a whole system.SOLUTION: The inside of a reactor 106 is filled with a reactant 107. The heat storage system comprises a return passage for returning a reaction medium from an outlet 162 to an inlet 161 of the reactor 106. In the middle of the return passage, pressure governors (111, 103) for pressurizing the reaction medium flowing out of the outlet 162 of the reactor 106 and a heat exchanger 104 for heating the pressurized reaction medium are provided. Therefore, a pressure of the reaction medium under reaction can be increased, a moving spee of the reaction medium can be accelerated for keeping a flowing state and a heat moving speed within the reactor 106 can be accelerated. Thus, a heat storage time or a heat emission time can be remarkably shortened, waste heat recovered from waste heat means can be effectively utilized and the reactor 106 can be remarkably downsized, thereby downsizing the entire system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
