Title:
HEAT TRANSFER PIPE FOR HEAT EXCHANGE AND METHOD FOR RECOVERING HEAT FROM HIGH TEMPERATURE GAS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001056196
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable to recover heat with a high efficiency from a high temperature corrosive atmosphere with avoiding accumulation of fly ash without lowering thermal conductivity by forming a heat transfer pipe from a sintered body having pores.

A heat transfer pipe 1 made of a ceramics alloy composite material having a porosity of 20 to 60% is used to recover heat from a high temperature gas. The heat transfer pipe 1 made of the ceramics alloy composite material having a porosity of 20 to 60% is disposed in a high temperature gas (400 to 1200°C) atmosphere such as waste combustion exhaust gas, coal burning exhaust gas and the like and a fluid to be heated is allowed to flow into the heat transfer pipe 1. At this time, pressure of the fluid in the heat transfer pipe is set to a pressure higher than that of an atmosphere outside of the heat transfer pipe 1 in which the high temperature gas is present. By this method, a certain amount of the fluid to be heated is allowed to constantly leak into the high temperature gas side through pores in the ceramics alloy composite material so that fly ash is prevented from being accumulated on an outer surface of the heat transfer pipe, heat conductivity is not lowered and stable operation for a long time is enabled.
