To provide a heat transfer pipe and header pipes capable of maintaining corrosion resistance and flow-induced corrosion resistance for a long time in an operating environment of an open rack type carburetor.
The heat transfer pipe 2 or the header pipe 3, 4 of the open rack type carburetor 10 includes: a base material comprising aluminum alloy; a sacrificial positive electrode layer positioned on the outer surface of the base material, covered by thermal spraying and comprising aluminum alloy; and a passive film formed on the outer surface side of the sacrificial positive electrode layer, based on one or more of aluminum oxide and aluminum hydroxide and having 0.001-1 m of thickness. The passive film is formed by applying a potential which is lower than a self-potential of aluminum alloy forming the sacrificial positive electrode layer and is -1,500 mV or larger on the basis of saturated calome electrode to the sacrificial positive electrode layer for 0.1-10 hours.
