Abstract:
To prevent transfer failure of an image protecting layer to a medium to be recorded by enhancing peeling of the image protecting layer from a peeling layer.
In the image protecting film wherein at least the thermal transferable image protecting layer 4 is arranged on a substrate 2 via the nontransferable peeling layer 3, the image protecting layer 4 peels from the peeling layer 3, and the image protecting layer 4 is affixed onto an image during thermally transferring, the softening temperature of the peeling layer 3 and the image protecting layer 4 is 40C or more.
