Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress generation of center misalignment of disks and to prevent degradation in the flatness of these disks by combining disk laminates and spacers, then drawing out guide pipes from supporting rods and subjecting the disks to a heat treatment.
CONSTITUTION: The supporting rods 12 are prependicularly mounted at a heat treating jig 11 and a guide pipe 13 are inserted into the supporting rods 12. Plural sheets of the disks 1 consisting of metals are laminated to form the disk laminates which are then inserted alternaltely with the spacers 14 having holes 15 of the same diameter as the diameter of the holes 2 of the disks 1 onto the pipe 13 and are thus stacked in prescribed stages. Weights 16 having a prescribed weight are placed on the spacers 14 on the laminates of the uppermost stages by fitting their holes 17 onto the pipe 13 to pressurize the respective disk laminates. The pipe 13 is thereafter removed from the supporting rods 12 before the heat treatment. As a result, the disks 1 are heat treated in the state of eliminating the center misalignment of the disks.
