To provide a method for heat-treating medical wastes, and an apparatus that solves problems that medical wastes require a heat treatment at a high temperature of 180°C or more because they may include infectious pathogenic microorganisms, but a conventional heat treatment apparatus cannot perfectly prevent the generation of dioxins because they are heated and thermally disposed in the pressure of air, particularly oxygen and the heat treatment apparatus cannot be durable for a long time because chlorine and water generated during the heat treatment produce hydrochloric acid.
The method for heat-treating medical waste and its device are characterized by heat-treating medical waste in the presence of inert gas while controlling the heat temperature within the constant range, evaporating water included in medical waste and sterilizing the same, and then fusing and decomposing the particular material included in medical waste.
