Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prolong the service life of the heater of a clothes drier and/or a heater opening/closing relay and to provide the clothes drier having a long service life with less faults.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of a preheating drying process, an energizing pattern is set so as to alternately energize a first heater and a second heater and to alternately repeat a 'weak' operation for energizing one side of the heater and a 'strong' operation for energizing the entire part of the heater. Thus, the number of times of the intermittent energizing of the respective heaters is reduced and the heater intermittent operation service life of the clothes drier is prolonged.
