Title:
HEATER DRAIN COLLECTOR IN HEAT POWER PLANT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5877105
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent steam, generated in a drain tank, from reversely flowing into a turbine, by dumping the steam through a pipe line, providing the pipe line between the drain tank and a condenser and interposing a shut off valve between a low pressure heater and the drain tank. CONSTITUTION:A drain tank dump pipe 55, for dumping a drain, is connected between a drain tank 31 and condenser 40. When a turbine is started and stopped, a pressure equalizer stop valve 52 is closed to prevent steam, in the drain tank 31, from reversely flowing in turbines T4, T5 through the first heater 22. While a pressure regulating valve 54 is opened by a drain tank pressure regulator 53 to prevent an excessive increases of internal pressure in the drain tank 31. Further condensed water in the drain tank 31 is never in suspicion of reversely flowing in the first heater 22 by action of a check valve 57. In this way, the necessity for service out operation can be eliminated, further thermal efficiency can be improved.
