Abstract:
To provide a heater that is excellent in durability and reliability of electrical connection, and a glow plug including the same.SOLUTION: A heater 1 comprises: an insulating substrate 10; and a heat element 20. The heat element 20 has a first straight line part 21, a second straight line part 22 located along the first straight line part 21, and a connection part 23 connecting the first straight line part 21 and the second straight line part 22. The heat element 20 has a first draw-out part 24 that is continuous from the first straight line part 21 and drawn out to a side face 13 of the insulating substrate 10, and a second draw-out part 25 that is continuous from the second straight line part 22 and drawn out to the side face 13 of the insulating substrate 10. In the heat element 20, the center C1a of a first base 24a and the center C2a of a second base 25a are shifted from a virtual plane S including the central axis L1 of the first straight line part 21 and the central axis L2 of the second straight line part 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
