Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater which can efficiently remove additives contained in a material to be heated and a ceramic element manufacturing method using the heater.
SOLUTION: In the inside of a heating furnace 3, a heat resistant vessel 4 in which a material 7 to be heated is disposed is mounted. The heat resistant vessel 4 has one end thereof connected with an introduction pipe 5 which extends outside the heating furnace 3. Heated air is introduced into the heat resistant vessel 4 through the introduction pipe 5 so that heated air is supplied positively but only around the periphery of the material 7 to be heated so that additives contained in the material 7 to be heated can be efficiently removed.
