To provide a heating apparatus for preventing interference to radio communication using infrared rays in a heat ray irradiation area from the heating apparatus.
The heating apparatus comprises a radiation heating means 301 for irradiating an infrared region; a reception means 200 for receiving radio signals at the infrared region; a means 302 for varying the amount of radiation energy for varying the amount of radiation energy from the radiation heating means 301; and a radiation timing means 303 for attenuating the amount of output radiation energy from the radiation heating means by the means 302 for varying the amount of radiation energy for a specified amount of time when receiving an infrared radio signal by the reception means 200, thus attenuating the amount of radiation energy from the radiation heating means 301 when receiving an infrared radio for realizing infrared radio communication.
