PURPOSE: To constitute a heating cooker for executing the cooking of roast meat so that such a problem as a temperature detecting means scarcely detects a temperature fall of the cooking surface after throwing in a load due to influence of the heating capacity of a cooking plate is solved, the cooking surface is easily held at a desired set temperature, and the cooking performance is enhanced.
CONSTITUTION: By providing a groove in a position for surrounding the part being right above a temperature detecting means being on the reverse side of a cooking plate 6, the heating capacity of the cooking plate becomes small. Also, by allowing a heat insulating material to flow into the groove., strength of the cooking plate increases, and moreover, by recessing the reverse side 6b of the plate, influence of heat of the whole cooking plate becomes small, and a temperature fall of the cooking surface after throwing in a load is transmitted more surely to the temperature detecting means 3, therefore, the cooking surface is held easily at a desired set temperature, and a satisfactory cooking performance is obtained.
