Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately discharge drain by relieving steam locking.SOLUTION: A heating cylinder 100 comprises: a cylinder main body 10 the inside of which is supplied with steam; a drain pipe 20 for discharging drain from the inside of the cylinder main body 10 by pressure in the cylinder main body 10; a steam trap 40 connected to the downstream side of the drain pipe 20; a by-pass pipe 32 connected to the downstream side of the drain pipe 20 and bypassing the steam trap 40; a valve 50 for opening and closing the by-pass pipe 32; and a control unit 60 controlling the valve 50. The control unit 60 opens and closes the valve 50 according to the storage amount of the drain in the cylinder main body 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
