Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control a temperature of a heater disposed on a glow plug, or to improve accuracy in temperature estimation of the heater.SOLUTION: In a heating device 100 provided with a glow plug 1 including a ceramic heater 40 having a substrate 42 in which a heating element 441 is buried at its tip side, and an outer cylinder 30 holding the ceramic heater 40, and energization means making the ceramic heater 40 generate heat by energizing the heating element 441, the glow plug 1 is provided with a film 90 which is the conductive film 90 disposed on an outer surface of the substrate 42, and kept into contact with the outer cylinder 30 while covering a part of the outer surface of the substrate 42 opposed to at least the heating element 441. Acquiring means for acquiring an electric resistance value of the substrate 42 is further disposed between the film 90 and the heating element 441. The energization means controls the energization to the heating element 441 so that the electric resistance value acquired by the acquiring means becomes a prescribed value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
