This is a heating device which comprises a heater 5 fixed to the holder 4, a film 2 which is driven with its inner face opposed to the heater 5, and a pressurizing member 6 in which a nip part "n" is formed pressing the film 2, and carries out heat treatment by the heat of the film 2 heated by the heater by introducing and passing the heated member P in the above nip part "n". The heating device has a temperature detecting element 1a which contacts the inner face of the film 2 and the temperature detecting element 1a is installed on a face 1c having a curvature of a temperature detecting element support member 1b.
