To provide a heating dryer capable of preventing a dried material from leaking out of a drum from a gap, even if there is the gap between a cylindrical inlet port on a fixed side and a circular opening part of the drum on a rotating side.

The heating dryer 1 comprises an outlet port 15 provided on one end 3a side of the drum 3 for housing drying materials and rotating with respect to a horizontal shaft C, the circular opening part 8 formed in a side surface of other end 3b side of the drum 3, the cylindrical inlet port 21 fixed with the gap 25 between an inner periphery surface of the circular opening part 8 of the drum 3, and a heating device 26 for blowing heated air into the drum 3. A protruded stripe section 10 is provided diagonally on the inner periphery surface of the circular opening part 8 of the drum 3 facing an outer periphery surface of the cylindrical inlet port 21 so that as the position of the protruded stripe section 10 moves toward upstream side in the drum rotating direction, the protruded stripe section 10 approaches to the one end 3a of the drum 3.
