The heating and grinding apparatus 1 comprises an upper grinder 4 having a supply port 3 for supplying an object 2 to be ground, a lower grinder 5 engaged with the upper grinder 4 for grinding, a heater 6 installed in the down face of the lower grinder 5, a driving apparatus 7 provided with reduction gears for rotating the upper grinder 4, a cover 9 for covering the upper grinder 4, the lower grinder 5, and the heater and forming a grinding chamber 8, a supply apparatus 10 for supplying the object 2 to be ground to the supply port 3, a discharge pipe 12 for discharging crushed material 11 between the upper grinder 4 and the lower grinder 5, a water discharge pipe 13 for discharging a liquid from the crushing chamber 8, a vapor discharge pipe 15 for discharging the vapor 14 from the crushing chamber 8 and the apparatus heats and grinds the object 2 to be ground to the crushed material 11 and separates the liquid and vapor generated following the grinding.
