Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform also reduction of an article when heating the article by high-temperature steam.SOLUTION: A liquid heat medium 4 accommodated in an evaporation tank 2 is heated by a heater 6, thereby generating high-temperature steam in the evaporation tank 2. Carboxylic acid is supplied into the evaporation tank 2 by a gas bubbling device 24 and is heated by high-temperature steam so as to be evaporated, thereby creating a reduction atmosphere. A work-piece 8 is carried in the evaporation tank 2 by a lifting device 16 so that the work-piece 8 is heated while being reduced in the reduction atmosphere.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
