Title:
HEATING METHOD OF SHIP MOLD WHEN MOLDING FRP SHIP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5671681
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve a lamination work efficiency, by a method wherein, when molding the FRP ship, an outer circumference of a wooden ship mold is covered with a sheet for blowing hot air into a space, an inner wall of the ship mold is heated to a given temperature, and a gelling time of a lamination resin is set so as to become constant.

CONSTITUTION: When molding the FRP ship by alternately laminating a glass fiber and a resin on an inner wall of a ship mold 1, the outer circumference of the ship mold 1 is covered with the sheet 2, and hot air is blown into the space 3 between the ship mold 1 and the sheet 2 through a hot air duct 4. The inner wall of the ship mold 1 is controlled by means of a temperature control switch 9 to be kept at a constant temperature of 15°C or higher, and with this it is heated. A gelling time of a lamination resin depends on the room temperature, but heating at a constant temperature permits a constant setting of the gelling time and enables the efficient lamination work.
