Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating roller device capable of efficiently cooling the surface of an elastic roller without giving a local change on the various characteristics of a material to be treated.
SOLUTION: This heating roller device for the heat rolling treatment of a material to be treated such as a web by nipping the same between a heating roller 11 made of a metal and an elastic roller 12 of which surface is made of a resin, is a device provided by spraying a mist like cooling medium formed by mixing air with a vaporizable liquid such as water with a spray 14 on the surface of the both ends of the elastic roller 12 just after the nipping and also blowing off remaining water content formed by the spraying of the cooling medium on the surface of the both ends of the elastic roller just before the nipping by a nozzle 15.
