Title:
HEATING TOOL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01105487
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make a power cord unnecessary and improve the operability by providing a primary coil made of a superconducting material on a support bed and electromagnetically coupling it with a secondary coil provided on a heating tool.

CONSTITUTION: A primary coil 3 made of a superconducting material is provided under cover nearly on the whole surface of an ironing board 1 and connected to an AC power receptacle via a power cord 5 provided with a switch 4 and a plug 5a provided at the end section. A secondary coil 6 and a load resistor 7 are provided in an iron 2 so as to form a closed circuit via a switch 8. When the AC voltage is applied to the primary coil 3, an AC current is induced in the secondary coil 6, the power is consumed between both ends of the secondary coil 6 to heat the heating tool, and the temperature is increased. No cord is thereby required, and the operability can be improved.
