Title:
垂直離着陸を行う重航空機
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4072205
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
The aircraft, designed with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capacity, has two bladed airscrews (37) on nacelles (33, 35) pivoted to the ends of lateral supporting arms (27, 29) so they can be rotated between vertical and horizontal positions for lift and forward thrust respectively. The airscrews have variable pitch blades, rotate in opposite directions, and are connected to a single roll control lever - operated by the pilot - via a flexible transmission that is not sensitive to the nacelles' angle of inclination.
