Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance safety of cargo handling by performing angle adjustment by actuating two elevating devices at a ramp side and by always retaining the the degree of the ramp within a predetermined range when tire tilt degree of the ramp is changed by driving in a carrying truck loaded with heavy cargoes, etc.
CONSTITUTION: An opening 12 provided at the side 11 of a vessel 10 is closed on a voyage with a watertight door allowed to function as a ramp 13 serving as a tilt passage during cargo handling. The ramp 13 is vertically moved by an elevating wire 14 and is allowed to develop toward a quay 17 with the guide roller 16 at a base end center by tilting wires 15. And, a vessel 10 is provided with a lift table 21 by locating inside the opening 12. The lift tackle 21 is elevated by hydraulic cylinders 27 provided at its four corners. In addition, the base end of the ramp 13 is selectively hinge-connected to the lift table 21. And, the tilt angle of the ramp 13 and the horizontal degree of the lift table 21 are detected by a sensor. The stroke of the hydraulic cylinders 27 is controlled to retain respective values with a predetermined range.
