PURPOSE: To improve anti-cut property anti-crack property on the bottom of a tread groove and repairing performance in the title tire for an airplane by arranging a plurality of belt layers, organic fiber waveformed cord layers and organic fiber layers in order from the inner side between a toroid-like carcass layer and a tread.
CONSTITUTION: There are arranged crossing layers which are made of organic fiber cords and folded at both ends thereof and peripheral belt layers 3 in order from the inner side between a toroid-like carcass 1 and a tread 4. On the outer side thereof, there is arranged a crown protective layer 6 comprising a waveformed cord layer 7 and organic fiber cord layer 8. The waveformed cord layer 7 comprises one ply made of an organic fiber waveformed cord and the organic cord layer 8 comprises two-layer ply which is made of organic fiber cord and is arranged in parallel to each other. Then both layers 7, 8 are arranged to be crossed to each other. With this arrangement, it is possible to improve an anti-cut property, anti-crack property of the bottom of the tread groove and a repairing performance.
