Abstract:
To provide a heavy load support device for an electric bus which reduces fear for which overturn safety of a vehicle declines even when a heavy load is loaded on a roof of the electric bus.SOLUTION: A heavy load support device 20 for an electric bus 1 supports a high-voltage battery 12 installed on the roof of the electric bus 1 and comprises: a variable support part 23 capable of adjusting a relative inclination angle θof the high-voltage battery 12 with respect to a vehicle body 30 of the electric bus 1 while supporting the weight of the high-voltage battery 12; an inclination angle sensor 21 for measuring an absolute inclination angle θwith respect to a horizontal plane of the electric bus 1 or the high-voltage battery 12; and an overturn prevention ECU 22 for controlling the variable support part 23. The overturn prevention ECU 22 controls the variable support part 23 on the basis of the absolute inclination angle θ.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
