Abstract:
To provide a height information reading system and a height information reading method capable of obtaining height information by simple processing.
The system includes a print medium (atlas 50) provided with a first image including information convertible into an X-coordinate value and a Y-coordinate value that show a two dimensional position on the print medium (atlas 50), and a pen-type device (10) having a reading means for reading the first image. A second image including information convertible into a Z-coordinate value that shows the height corresponding to the X-coordinate value and the Y-coordinate value is superimposed on the print medium (atlas 50). The reading means reads each of the first image and the second image.
