To provide a helicopter toy, easy to fly and flown by voice, which may supply taste different from that in the case of flying with a stick lever.
This helicopter toy 1 includes a transmitter and a flying body shaped like a helicopter. The flying body includes a rechargeable battery, a rotor, a motor for driving the rotor in rotation, and a flying body side control circuit having a receiver circuit. The transmitter includes voice identifying means 107 for identifying voice command given by an operator, signal generating means 109 which outputs a predetermined operation signal in response to the voice command identified by the voice identifying means 107, and an auxiliary operation switch 59. The voice command includes a first command for directing the rotational start of the motor, a second command for directing lift-off of the flying body, a third command for directing to keep the altitude of the flying body, a fourth command for directing lowering of the flying body, and a fifth command for directing to stop the rotation of the motor.
