PURPOSE: To provide a process capable of commercially producing human hematopoietic-accelerating factor protein by using a DNA coding for a polypeptide containing a moety or whole of the primary structural sequence of a natural pluripotent granulocyte colony-stimulating factor.

CONSTITUTION: The protein is obtained by integrating a codon preferable for the expression of a selected nonmanmalian host to the DNA coding for the polypeptide containing a part or whole of the primary structural sequence of the human pluripotent granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(hPG-CSF); donation of cleavage site by a restriction endonuclease enzyme, and, additional donation of the DNA sequence to the forward end, rear end, or intermediate part to allow an easy construction of a simple expression vector.
