Title:
HEMOGLOBIN CONCENTRATION MEASURING INSTRUMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6429739
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need of hemolysis for blood to be measured, and also, to continuously measure the concentration of hemoglobin by executing the correction by using at least one of the reflected light intensity of the light radiated by the first light irradiating means.

CONSTITUTION: The titled instrument is provided with the first and the second light irradiating means E, F for radiating the light of specific wavelength into blood. A detecting means 2 detects the intensity of the reflected light radiated into blood from the light irradiating means E and F. Subsequently, a correction factor arithmetic means 40 calculates a correction factor by using the reflected light intensity detected 2 from the light radiated by the light irradiating means E and the reflected light intensity detected 2 from the light radiated by the light irradiating means F. Next, a corrected reflected light intensity ratio of the reflected light intensity of the light radiated by the light irradiating means E, which is detected 2 continuously by using the correction factor, and the reflected light intensity of the light beam radiated by the light irradiating means F is calculated 44. Thereafter, by using the corrected reflected light intensity ratio which is outputted 44, the concentration of hemoglobin in blood is calculated 4.
