PURPOSE: To obtain a herbicide for paddy field by using a new furobenzopyran derivative and a pyrazole derivative in combination with 2-bromo-N-(α.α- dimethylbenzyl)-3,3-dimethyl-butylamide, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This herbicide composition for paddy field is produced by combining at least one kind of a furobenzopyran derivative of the formula (R1 is an alkyl; R2 is an alkyl, an alkoxy, etc.; R3 is an alkyl, an alkoxy, phenoxy, etc.; R4 is H or an alkyl; R5 is cyano, nitro, phenyl, etc.; (m) is 0-4; (n) is 0-2; (p) is 1-3) with a pyrazole derivative such as 4-(2,4-dichlorobenzoyl)-1,3- dimethylpyrazol-5-yl-p-toluenesulfonate and further 2-bromo-N-(α,α- dimethylbenzyl)-3,3-dimethyl-butylamine, etc. The composition is effective at a derceased amount of the active component, has a broad margin of application time to enable the application at an arbitrary stage and enables the control of harmful weeds over a long period by a single application.
