Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of noise due to resonance of a discharge pipe by providing an inverter device which grasps a frequency at which the discharge pipe resonates in advance and operates an electrical element at a specific frequency at which the discharge pipe does not resonate.
SOLUTION: A capacity control type reciprocating compressor A consists of a hermetic vessel 1, an electric element M built in the sealed vessel 1, and a reciprocating compression element 6. The electrical element M is operated by frequencies of power supply 11 for commercial use or frequencies by an inverter device 12. Moreover, resonance generated in a discharge pipe 9 due to the operation of the power supply 11 for commercial use is prevented by a coil spring 10. In the inverter device 12, the discharge pipe 9 is set to a specific frequency which is different from an operation frequency and does not resonate. In this way, even if frequency is dropped to the specific frequency at the time of low load for operation, the discharge pipe 9 does not generate resonance noise, and power to be consumed is saved.
