PURPOSE: To arrange a part, such as a heat-exchanger and a ceiling, in the very proximity of the head part of a compressor by a method wherein an electric motor and a compressor mechanism part driven by the electric motor are disposed in a closed container and a suspension metal fitting is disposed to the head part of a closed container and falls around a hinge.
CONSTITUTION: An electric motor and a compressor mechanism driven by the electric motor are contained in a closed container 1. In which case, a suspension metal fitting 3 is attached to a container head part 2 and consists of a plate having a round hole 4 formed in a central part. The root thereof is rotatable by means of a hinge 5 and securely welded to the container head part 2 through the hinge part 5. When a hermetic compressor is mounted on and demounted from an apparatus, such as an air-conditioner, the suspension metal fitting 3 rises, a hook is inserted in the round hole 4, and the closed container is lifted for movement. Thereafter, the suspension metal fitting 3 falls, and a part, such as a heat-exchanger, is arranged in the very proximity of the container head part 2.
