Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent loss of efficiency in operation due to inputting extra electric power for generation of core loss (especially eddy current loss) caused by that magnetic flux of a permanent magnet disposed in a rotor of a compressor flows into a main bearing side of a compression mechanism part.SOLUTION: Magnetic shield means is provided between a rotor and a main bearing of a compressor to eliminate generation of leak of magnetic flux to the main bearing so as to reduce core loss (especially eddy current loss) in a bearing part. Therefore, it is possible to provide a hermetic electric compressor with high efficiency in which increase of input to an electric motor is suppressed.
