Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic type compressor which is highly efficient, which has low noise and excellent startability by preventing a lubricating oil contained in a refrigerant gas from staying in an auxiliary discharge chamber connected to a discharge chamber.SOLUTION: A hermetic type compressor includes an auxiliary discharge chamber 152 connected to a discharge chamber 133 by a communication pipe 150, and a bottom surface 151 of the auxiliary discharge chamber 152 is arranged at a position higher than a bottom surface 138 of the discharge chamber 133. Thereby, flowing of a lubricating oil into the auxiliary discharge chamber 152 and staying there is suppressed, and decrease of discharge space can be prevented. Thus, efficiency is improved, noise is reduced and startability can be improved.
