NEW MATERIAL:Heterocyclic derivatives of formula I (R1, R2 are H, lower alkyl, aryl, or incorporate to form benzene ring, where the aryl and benzene ring may be substituted with at least one of lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, halogen, nitro, etc. in any position) or their salts.
EXAMPLE: Pyrido[3',4':5,4]thiazolo[3,2-a]benzimidazole.
USE: Drugs or their intermediate as anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic, immunosuppresive, antibacterial, analgesic or antitumorigenic.
PREPARATION: The dehydrogenation of a novel compound of formula II gives the objective compound of formula I. The compound of formula II is obtained by de- ethoxycarbonylation of a compound of formula V, the product of reaction between a compound of formula III and a compound of formula IV (R1', R2' are H, lower alkyls, aryls; X is halogen).
