NEW MATERIAL: The heterocyclic deriv. of formula I (R1, R4 are 1 to 4C alkyl; R2, R3 are 1 to 6C straight or branched chain alkyl which may be interrupted by O; R5 is a straight or branched chain 1 to 13C alkyl, 5 to 8C cycloalkyl which may be substd. with 1 to 3C alkyl). However, 4-(2-3-(1,1-dimethylethoxy)-3- oxo-1-propenyl)phenyl)-1,4dihydro-2,6-dimethyl-3,5-pyridine diethyl ester caboxylate is precluded.
EXAMPLE: 4-(2-(3-(1,1-dimethylethoxy)-3-oxo-1-propenyl)phenyl)1,4dihydro-2, 6- dimethyl-3, 5-pyridine dimethyl ester carboxylate.
USE: A cardiovascular disorder therapeutic agent. Useful for the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, etc.
PROCESS: The compd. of the formula I is obtd. by bringing. for example, the compd. of formula II and the compd. of formula III into reaction.
