PURPOSE: To obtain a new compound having agrochemical activity as insecticide and miticide.
CONSTITUTION: This compound of the formula I, e.g. 2,6-difluoro-N[[[2-(2- fluorophenyl)-1,3-benzodioxan-6-yl]amino] carbonyl[benzamide is obtained by converting the compound of the formula III (either R8 or R9 is nitro, etc.) to the compound of the formula IV (either R10 or R11 is amino, etc.) by hydrogenation and then by allowing the compound of the formula IV to react with the compound of the formula V. In the formula I, R1, R2 are each halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, haloalkyl, etc.; R3 R4 are each H, alkyl; R5 is H, alkyl, alkoxy, etc.; X, Y are each O, S, etc.; (n) is 0 to 3; (r) is 0 or 1; (m) is 0 to 4; one of A and B is the formula II (R6 is H, halogen, etc.; R7 is halogen or alkyl), and the other is H, or similar to either R1 or R2.
